Complaints, Whistleblowing and Safeguarding
Whistleblowing is raising a concern about danger or illegality that affects others, this could include fraud, bribery or corruption (see the Anti-Fraud policy for details). He or she is a messenger raising a concern so that others can address it.
Safeguarding is when someone raises a concern specifically about the well-being of a child or an adult at risk. He or she is a messenger raising a concern so that others can address it.
A complaint or grievance is when someone believes they have been personally treated poorly. This poor treatment could involve a breach of their individuality and is seeking redress or justice. The person making the complaint is expected to prove their case.
